Further assignment thoughts

So with the honest lens of time, i have assessed my blog and the lessons i have learnt. When i started the project i was a bit of a blog newbie and i had to ask how to add a page to my blog (which was strange because i know how to write html code but i couldnt use the user interface) but by the end i had downloaded a new skin and modified the css to suit my own blog, was adding multiple new pages and adding widgets easily. The main issue i encountered was that on the day before it was due (tears) my blog started crashing every browser which opened it after about 5 seconds. In order to fix it i had to change my skin, which determined that the cause was the content rather than the appearance. i then had to go through the entire blog meticulously removing bits of code before the browser crashed, until the corrupt code was removed. It turned out that the corrupt code was coming from 5 of the embeded videos from comedy central. Although this was a good learning experience, it was very time consuming and restricted the extent i could go to with my blog which was a shame because i had big dreams at the begining. It meant that pages which i had hoped to link did not get linked up and information i would have liked to add (and sadly enough had already written) did not get added because i was still adding things at 4:55 and decided i had to stop in order to get it submitted by 5. Overall im a bit cut about the set backs but ultimately i know way more about blogs than i could have imagined.
