Data Visualisation
For my assignment i am thinking of doing a data visualisation but i’m not exactly sure on what content as yet. I think it is more likely that i will use stats from the internet rather than based on my own life because i don’t think i will get enough data, or enough interesting data anyway. I found some pretty awesome examples of data visualisations from the delicious likes here which are pretty inspiring in terms of idea generation. I specifically like the one which shows drug popularity throughout the US which can be seen here. I think it is effective because the info is interesting and it is presented in a way that i can understand through the use of colour and scale to represent proportions. Another good example of clearly laid out image which makes data more understandable is this one on beer compared to location which can be seen here.
