Ok so the solution to my assignment dramas was to reinsert all my story so that the lovely fellows marking my work actually have something to mark. Unfortunately its a bit late, but i didn’t want to reinsert until i’d enquired as to whether the original story could be retirieved.
My fatal error in this assignment was that i decided to do most of the work in the browser. I wrote the basic story in word and then inserted it into google maps, thinking this would be easiest as i had to link things up. What i did then was edit my story and add to it, and then what i did was manage to delete it all a minute before it was due (once again tears).
But… in reinserting my info, i discovered the TERRIBLE design flaw in google maps … if you double click your placemark it deletes everything within it. Now i ask, whos stupid idea was that?
Anyway, the majority of my info is back in, and it is not as pretty or as well written and linked up as it was previously, but I am confident now because i have something submitted. I would also like to say a brief apology to all those who had to actually read my story, it is a bit depressing and lame, but it worked for my photos. In case you hadn’t noticed iam better at photography than creative writing…
